Arnold Schoenberg was the greatest composer of the 20th century. He was also a very superstitious man. He suffered from Triskaidekaphobia, which is a fear of the number 13. Schoenberg died on Friday the 13th, 1951.

Anton Webern, a student of Schoenberg, stepped out of the house to smoke a cigar. He was shot by an occupying American soldier. Ten years later, the American died of alcoholism, induced by remorse.
